Greeting Of Eid ul Adha Message 2015

This year Eid Ul-Adha (the Islamic Festival of Sacrifice) is falling on Thursday 24th September 2015.

Liverpool Islamic society (LMS) would like to take this opportunity to wish you “HAPPY EID MUBARAK” with love and best wishes.  May Allah the Almighty accept our good deeds, May Allah in this occasion flood our life with happiness, our heart with love, our soul with spiritual, our mind with wisdom. Remember that Eid ul adha is Eid of sacrifice, and commitment to Allahs orders, May Allah bless us with the same in all circles of life, and help all amongst us, who are helpless, worried, and waiting for his mercy and rehmatAmeen.Eid Mubarak.

Eid-al-Adha honors Ibrahim's (Abraham's) willingness to sacrifice his son Ishmael when God ordered him to do this. However, just as Ibrahim was about to kill Ishmael, God put a sheep in his place.  Muslims celebrate the festival of Eid -Al –Adha in remembrance of Prophet Abraham’s readiness to sacrifice his son Ishmael to God.   Muslims celebrate Ibrahim's complete obedience to the will of God during Eid-al-Adha. They remind themselves of their own willingness to sacrifice anything to follow God's commands. It also marks the end of the annual Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca in Saudi Arabia.

Eid-Al –Adha is celebrated on the tenth day of the last month of Islamic year, Duhl- Hijja. Eid -Al –Adha is known through several names across the world and this festival of sacrifice is celebrated for several days in some areas of the country. It is seen that Muslims celebrate this festival with great excitement no matter where they are.

EID is the combination of 3 meaningful words:

E: Embrace with open heart

I: Inspire with impressive attitude,

D: Distribute pleasure to all.
